To accept a Working Hours Act (Arbeidstijdenwet, ATW) violation in bookU Staffing, select Accept violation on the Violations tab of the shift or in the detail screen of the violation. Accepting a violation means you knowingly keep the planning as it is, even though the planning breaks a Working Hours Act rule. Users with the Planner role and users with the Admin role can accept a violation.
Accepting a violation from the shift in bookU Staffing
To accept a violation from the shift in bookU Staffing, select Accept violation on the Violations tab of the shift.
Open the shift in the planning to display the shift details.
Select the Violations tab.
On the violation you want to accept, select Accept violation.
Accepting a violation from the All violations module in bookU Staffing
To accept a violation from the All violations module in bookU Staffing, open the detail screen of the violation and select Accept violation.
Select All violations in the menu on the left.
Select the violation you want to accept. bookU Staffing opens the detail screen of the violation.
In the detail screen, select Accept violation.
What happens after you accept a violation in bookU Staffing
After you accept a violation in bookU Staffing, the status of the violation changes to accepted. bookU Staffing records the date and time of the acceptance and the name of the planner who accepted the violation. The violation card on the Violations tab of the shift then shows the date of the acceptance and the name of the planner.
When all violations of a shift are accepted, the warning icon on the shift card in Employees planning disappears.
Important: bookU Staffing keeps a record of every acceptance. Accept a violation only after you have checked that the planning is allowed.
