To make a shift private in bookU Staffing, select Make private. Only your own team sees a shift with the status Private: the shift is not published to the marketplace, and the planner selects a candidate. You can make a shift private when you create the shift, from a shift with the status Marketplace, or from a cancelled shift. The button Make private was previously called Save as draft, and the status Private was previously called Draft.
Making a shift private when you create the shift
To make a shift private when you create the shift, select the arrow next to Publish shift in the Add shift screen and choose Make private. The shift gets the status Private.
Making a Marketplace shift private
To make a shift with the status Marketplace private, open the shift and select Make private.
Go to Project planning, Employees planning, All shifts or All shift assignments.
Select the shift. The shift details open.
Select Make private. The status of the shift changes to Private.
In Project planning, you can also right-click the shift and select Make private.
Making a cancelled shift private
To reactivate a cancelled shift, make the cancelled shift private.
Go to Project planning, Employees planning, All shifts or All shift assignments.
Select the cancelled shift. The shift details open and show the cancellation reason.
Select Make private. The status of the shift changes to Private.
Making a shift with the status Review by customer or Assigned private
To make a shift with the status Review by customer or Assigned private, cancel the shift first. Then make the cancelled shift private, as described in the section Making a cancelled shift private.
Publishing a private shift to the marketplace
To publish a private shift to the marketplace, open the shift and select Publish shift. The status of the shift changes to Marketplace, and all qualified employees on the marketplace can see the shift. In Project planning, you can also right-click the shift and select Publish shift.
